compression fittings

Compression Fittings

Our compression fittings are used in instrumentation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of working pressure to maximum 2.000 psi and of temperature range -65 to 250°F. They are made in accordance with ASA, AMSE and SAE specifications.

When applying longer nuts, greater vibration resistance can be achieved. They are made by copper alloyed barstocks and forging pieces. All tolerances are restricted within ±0.02 inch.

We have compression fittings of unions with sleeve, insert and nut, and elbow, tee and adapters.

Compression fittings are screwed on with outside screw fittings by screw nut and sealed with compression force achieved by inserting ball sleeve. Move the screw fittings onto the sleeve before tightening them with the nut by bare hand.

Additional turns must be made using a wrench as per — 1¼ turns for tubes sizing 1/8" to 1/4"; 1¾ turns for tubing 5/6"; and 2¼ turns for 3/8" to 1".
